We are seeking a Marketing & Community Coordinator who will work with a team of skilled practitioners responsible for promoting and growing all aspects of trio-group’s and Coding Girl’s programs, products, and projects.

You will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of both our visual marketing assets and content created to support product and services and other marketing goals. From concept through execution, this candidate will optimize user conversion by visually bringing our messages to life.

 

Responsibilities

  1. Coordinate and activate community members to contribute to marketing activities and drive community growth.

  2. Develop together with your team marketing strategies, organize events and create landing pages, emails, and other campaign elements to promote our organization, products, and programs working with campaign leads.

  3. Work with design team to make sure that marketing elements fit into overall organizational design standards.

  4. Create accompanying graphics for landing pages, emails, and other campaign elements.

  5. Continue as primary designer throughout campaign lifecycles.

  6. Work with marketing team to optimize new and existing conversion-focused emails and landing pages.

  7. Lay out white papers, infographics, 2-pagers, reports, and other content to promote our products, programs, and overall thought leadership.

  8. Create digital and print advertisements.

  9. Manage and optimize email and landing page templates and file structure in our CMS (Drupal / HubSpot / Google Drive).

  10. Scope and create graphics for our marketing team to be more efficient and effective in posting on social media, blog, email, and other channels.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in design, marketing, or equivalent work experience

  • Ideal candidate will have 1 year of marketing + design experience. Candidates just graduating from college will also be considered.

  • Past work as an in-house designer/at a marketing agency or appropriate academic portfolio is a plus. Please provide work samples.

  • Expert in Adobe Creative Suite or similar technologies

  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript a plus

  • Efficient designer who can meet tight deadlines for deliverables

  • Volunteering experience is a plus.

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Self-reliant, good problem solver, results oriented

  • Adaptive design eye and skill

  • Ability to absorb and apply constructive criticism from colleagues and clients

  • Passion for technology and digital design
