Girls in Tech: Invest in the Future
About the Event
The aim of this talk is to provide the tools and to outline the roadmap of how tech communities and the Drupal one in particular can encourage girls to start their careers in technology.
1. Identify the problem of the gender imbalance in tech and illustrate the related numbers;
2. Introduce role models from tech field;
3. Share a personal story by a passionate developer Maria Totova;
4. Provide a roadmap on how we can increase the number of women in tech and build the foundations of trust, respect and support with a help of Coding Girls.
